Description

Students will learn the parts of a loom, basics of setting up a loom, as well as the vocabulary of weaving   Students will make a scarf or table runner.  Appropriate for beginning students.

Instructors Priscilla Yeager and Suzanne Monroe have twenty years of weaving experience between them and have been teaching at Tryon Arts & Crafts School for the past five years.  Both are members of the Western North Carolina Fibers/Handweavers Guild. The Guild meets on the second Saturday, February thru November at 10AM at Historic Johnson Farm in Hendersonville. All fiber lovers are welcome. The Guild website is: http://www.wncfhg.org.
