Kimberly Tarach, Board of Directors, Treasurer

Kimberly Spurlock Tarach is the owner and CEO of a Certified Women Owned Business, QUAL-TECH, INC. which is located in Mill Spring, NC.

Kimberly holds an MBA and MA in Management of Information Systems from Webster University and a BS in Professional Management from Nova University. She is certified by Exemplar Global and Probitas as a Quality Management System (QMS) and Aerospace Quality Management System (AQMS) auditor for AS9100, AS9110, and AS9120 standards. She has served in various leadership roles within the American Society of Quality (ASQ), including Chair of the Cape Canaveral Section, Regional Director for the ASQ Audit Division, and currently as Vice Chair and Education Chair. Kimberly is also a Certified ASQ Certified Quality Auditor (CQA).

With over 30 years of experience, Kimberly has developed and implemented Quality Management, Aerospace Quality Management, Environmental Management, and Occupational Health and Safety Systems for diverse customers in both private industry and government. Her career includes significant roles at aerospace companies such as United Space Alliance, Lockheed Martin, Rockwell International, and Eaton Corporation, and she has collaborated with government agencies like NASA, FAA, and the United States Air Force. Kimberly managed a Quality Audit Organization at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center and has held positions such as Lead Shuttle Systems Inspector and Operations Assessment Lead, with extensive experience in inspecting and auditing various Space Shuttle systems.
