Description

This workshop is for beginners or intermediate students who have good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.  Students will cover basic torchwork techniques and safety, then design and create their own candlestick(s).

 

Students should bring safety glasses, leather utility gloves, and hearing protection (if desired). TACS can provide glasses and gloves, if needed.

 

To qualify for the lottery drawing, you must:

  1. Be a resident of Polk County, NC, or Landrum, SC
  2. Be new to TACS’ welding program
  3. Commit to attend both days – There is no opportunity for make-up sessions.
  4. Class slots are awarded through a lottery drawing. To enter the lottery, add this class to your shopping cart, and enter all requested information. Your shopping cart will show $0. PLEASE NOTE: By entering the lottery, you are not guaranteed a space in the class.
