Participants will construct and sculpt a contemporary plant stand to display their favorite planter and plant! During this build, students will learn shaping techniques while making a piece of furniture from rough lumber. This course will cover milling, design and layout, joinery, shaping/sculpting, and finishing.
Students must be able to stand for periods up to 2 hours long and be able to lift materials up to 20 pounds.
Students should bring ear plugs, safety glasses, dust mask/respirator, and the planter that base is intended to hold 12″ diameter max.
