Silent Auction

Little Angels Ornament Youth Benefit

and Chair-Arty

Tryon Arts & Crafts School celebrates the reopening of its gallery and shop with annual Handcrafted Holiday Showcase – over 200 unique items! Limited numbers permitted indoors.

Starting on November 27, TACS will also run a silent auction in the main gallery – a collection of vintage and contemporary pottery, collector pins, paintings, jewelry, and photography. The auction will run until December 18.

Visitors are encouraged to purchase handmade ornaments, the sales of which go to TACS’ youth scholarship fund, “Little Angels”.

And, last but not least, guests may view the Chair-Arty silent auction – 7 decorated chairs by 7 local artists. Chairs will be on display at Tryon Theatre on Black Friday and Saturday, November 27 and 28, 5:00-7:00 pm. They will then be returned to TACS for the remainder of the auction, which concludes on December 18.

TACS follows the current North Carolina guidelines for social gatherings.

A maximum of 10 guests may occupy TACS’ gallery and shop at a time. Guests should expect to take a self-guided stroll through TACS’ gallery. Out of consideration for other guests present, we ask that you make your stroll a one-way stroll, rather than moving back and forth throughout the space.

In order to enter Tryon Arts & Crafts School, all individuals are required to wear a mask and have their temperature checked. Free masks donated as part of TACS’ Masks 4 Masses program will be available for guests needing masks. Hand sanitizer stations will be available throughout the premises.
