Description
This is an introductory class for beginners. Students will learn the basics of throwing, trimming and glazing pottery.
This includes basic wheel skills such as centering the clay, pulling the walls of the clay and shaping forms. Students will also learn about trimming pots, the different types of firings, and introductory glazing techniques.
Emphasis is on learning and developing a solid foundation of skills for making wheel thrown pots.
