Beginner, intermediate
In this workshop, students will learn to carve a cooking spoon. The focus of this course will be using basic knife grips. Carvers will learn how to add a “crank”, or bend, to their spoons. This is a great opportunity for beginner and intermediate carvers to improve their skills and solidify techniques.
Students should wear long pants and closed-toed shoes. They may bring their own sloyd knives if they own them.
Materials fee: $10 payable to the instructor at the time of the workshop.
