Beginner, intermediate
Students will learn fundamental knife skills and techniques to safely carve a Swedish butter spreader. This class is geared toward beginners, but intermediate carvers will have something to gain. We’ll focus on safety and good technique. This course is meant to be a jumping off point for your carving journey.
Students should wear long pants and closed-toed shoes. They may bring their own sloyd knives if they own them.
Materials fee: $10 payable to the instructor at the time of the workshop.
