Description
In this two day workshop, students will learn the basics of glaze mixing, glaze layering, stains, wax resist, testing and application. This class is open to beginners to advanced students, as well as throwing and hand building students. We will cover making test tiles both on the wheel and by hand-building.
This is the perfect opportunity to bring in any bisque ware pots students have been waiting to glaze or have questions on glazing.
Students are encouraged to bring work to glaze and a glaze journal (note pad or notebook specifically for recording glaze tests and results), Students also need to bring paint brushes, sketch book, pen or pencil, and a towel.
