Description

Each student will learn how to use necessary tools and be able to have a finished quilt top at the end of the course.

Students must bring their own sewing machines and have basic knowledge of sewing on it.  Please also bring the manual if you have one.

Students must also bring;  (SEE BELOW for links to purchase many of these items in a kit)

  • cutting mat
  • rotary cutter
  • extra needles for your machine
  • quilting ruler
  • non-slip grips
  • seam ripper
  • scissors
  • a precut set of about 42 pieces measuring 10 x 10 squares (layer cake)
  • Spool of neutral colored thread – Aurifil or Gutterman brands preferred – must be all cotton
