Description
Using paints made for silk, participants will come up with their own designs and then transfer them to silk and apply paint. They will be able to sample using resist, salt, and stencils . Students will also learn to combine textures and blend colors.
Students should bring large pieces of newsprint or drawing paper, paper towels or old cloths, soft pencils, fine tip permanent marker, masking tape, 1 quart or larger water container, old watercolor or bamboo brushes (if you have them), and, if possible, a hairdryer.
Biltmore wine and light snacks will be provided.
