No prior experience is necessary for you to come socialize, snack, and try lamp work beadmaking. Complimentary refreshments provided by Tryon Coffeehouse Co-op.
Join this seasonal workshop in which the instructor will go over basic studio safety, an explanation of the process of torched glass, types of glass and color reactions, dots, stringers and other decorations, shaping and practice time. Project examples: fall leaves, pumpkins
Finished products will be left in the studio to cool overnight. Students will be able to pickup their work or arrange shipping the following week.
Students should wear natural fibers (no polyester – it melts), closed toe shoes, have hair tied back and bring a water bottle.
