Four weeks only: April 4, 11, 18, 25
All skill levels welcome.
Students will learn the basics of working with pastels in a plein air (outside) environment.
Students will need to have their own SOFT pastels, portable easel and stool, workable fixative, blenders, rags, Canson paper pad, matte fixative.
The emphasis of the course will be on the process and learning to express oneself through the medium of pastels. Different techniques, set up and capturing light will be introduced as we work outside.
