Description
Students will each make a small, handcrafted basket used for loaves of bread, muffins, office supplies, such as mail, pens, and office incidentals. Instructor will provide a kit including all materials and a pattern to make the basket.
Students need to bring: scissors, tape measure, old dish towel, pencil, 8″ or 10″ flat headed screwdriver, needle nose pliers, a 1-gallon pail for water, small spray bottle, and some clothes pins. Students may also bring drinks and a lunch. A lunch break will be taken for approximately 30 minutes.
To qualify for the lottery drawing, you must:
- Be a resident of Polk County, NC, or Landrum, SC
- Be new to TACS’ basketry program
- Commit to attend the entire program
